INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Independence Day celebration at Alhoda International School was a vibrant display of patriotism, creativity, and social awareness, with enthusiastic participation from the school’s various clubs.

The Foodie Fusion Club organized a tricolor-themed food festival, featuring dishes in the colors of the Indian flag, symbolizing unity and diversity through delicious culinary creations. The Artistic Edge Club held a craft show showcasing beautiful handmade items inspired by Independence Day, reflecting the artistic talents of students and their love for the nation.

The Community Help Club took the opportunity to raise funds for charitable causes, highlighting the spirit of giving and helping those in need as part of the Independence Day ethos. Lastly, the Nature Club delivered a powerful drama and speech focusing on nature conservation, including an insightful speech about Medha Patkar and her leadership in the Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA), a movement that opposed large dams on the Narmada River, bringing attention to environmental and social justice issues.

This celebration not only honored India’s independence but also emphasized the importance of cultural heritage, creativity, and social responsibility.

ISLAMIC CULTURAL PROGRAMME 2024-25
Report on the Islamic Cultural Programme
The Islamic Cultural Programme at Alhoda International School, held on the 12th, 16th, 18th, and 19th of December 2024, was a grand celebration of Islamic values and ethics. This flagship event brought together the entire school community, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Islam through a series of activities. It was a resounding success, with participation from all students across pre-primary, primary, and secondary sections.
The 4-day program was thoughtfully divided across different sections:
• Day 1 (12th December): Focused on the pre-primary students.
• Day 2 (16th December): Highlighted the talents of the primary section.
• Days 3 & 4 (18th & 19th December): Dedicated to the secondary students, who performed a variety of thought-provoking and engaging activities.

Parents and teachers attended the program and lauded the efforts of students and teachers. The performances were met with enthusiastic applause, and the creative and intellectual contributions of students were highly appreciated.
The Islamic Cultural Programme of 2024 was a testament to Alhoda International School’s commitment to fostering moral and cultural development in its students. The event not only highlighted the importance of Islamic values but also provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and teamwork.
The program concluded on a celebratory note, where the students who performed well and got the ranks were awarded with a medal and certificates, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to uphold the virtues of Islam in their daily lives.
